The purpose of the EGSC 餐厅 Policy is to provide documentation for EGSC 餐厅 Plan users concerning a variety of issues associated with the EGSC 餐厅的计划s that include but are not limited to purchasing, usage, cancellation, exemption, refunds, 等. Users of EGSC 餐厅的计划s are required to follow the terms set forth in this 政策. 学生 will be notified within thirty (30) days of any changes to this 政策.

EGSC 餐厅 Services is committed to providing those we serve with excellent food and exceptional customer service while providing a sense of community for all.

EGSC 餐厅 Dollars and 餐厅的计划s can only be redeemed by the person to whom the card was originally issued and who is identified as the Card Holder. Use of a Bobcat Card by any individual other than the Card Holder without prior authorization subjects the Card Holder to have his/her card confiscated and destroyed. It will be the 餐厅 Plan Holder’s responsibility to obtain a new card.
Eligibility and Acceptance:
EGSC 餐厅的计划s are available for purchase by students, faculty, and staff of East Georgia College Swainsboro campus. The EGSC 餐厅的计划 user accepts the terms and conditions of this 餐厅的计划 Policy Statement upon initial payment, submission of 餐厅的计划 preference forms or processing charges. Any form of acceptance binds the user to the entire Policy Statement. 学生 living in EGSC Campus 住房 are required to have an EGSC 餐厅的计划.
付款:
EGSC 餐厅的计划s are billed by 学期 through your registration invoice on your Banner student account. Payment is due in accordance with the 住房 Move-In deadlines. Commuter meal plans, including faculty/staff meal plans must be paid in full before meal plans will be activated.
餐厅 Dollars:
EGSC 餐厅 Dollars is a dollar-for-dollar equivalency funds program built into the 餐厅的计划. 餐厅 Dollars expire at the end of each 学期 and unused balances greater than $ 10.00 will be refunded to the student’s account at the end of each 学期.
Residential 餐厅 Facility 政策:
No outside food or drink is permitted into the Richard L. Brown 餐厅 Hall.
Termination by Student:
Failure to participate in the EGSC 餐厅的计划 program does not automatically release a student, faculty, or staff member from this 餐厅的计划 Policy Statement. 学生 may only terminate their EGSC 餐厅的计划 for one of the following reasons:

- Withdrawal from East Georgia State College.
- Cancellation or Exemption of the Campus 住房 Agreement that did not result from expulsion or suspension from Campus 住房.
- Medical condition with dietary requirements that cannot be met by 餐厅 Services. Documentation from a medical doctor must be provided. The Director of 餐厅 Services will rule on our ability to meet the prescribed diet and approving a medical exemption.
Any EGSC 餐厅的计划 terminated in this manner may still be billed to the user at a pro-rated charge based on usage. A $ 50.00 Cancellation Fee will be charged on all terminated 餐厅的计划s.
退款:
Refunds for any EGSC 餐厅的计划 are based on a pro-rated (See Proration Note) amount determined by the remaining weeks in the term of purchase and are issued based on the method of previous payment.
登记:
The EGSC 餐厅的计划 user (or their legal guardian) is responsible for the payment of any EGSC 餐厅的计划. EGSC 餐厅的计划 changes (decrease or cancellation) will not be accepted after the 餐厅 Adjustment Date (9th 上课日).
A 餐厅 plan user may change or drop his/her plan (住房 students may change but may not drop) by 5 pm the first 上课日 if they have not used their plan. After the first 上课日, until 5 p.m. on the 9th 上课日 there will be a $50.00 fee to drop or change a plan if it has not been used. If any portion of an EGSC 餐厅的计划 has been used, there will be a $50.00 fee, plus an adjustment for the 餐厅 Dollars used.
No changes or drops will be made after the 9th 上课日 per 学期: After the 9th 上课日 the full meal plan charge will remain on the student’s account .
学生 living in EGSC - Swainsboro campus housing are required to have a meal plan.
学生 living in EGSC - Swainsboro campus housing and Commuter students who terminate (see Termination by Student) their meal plan will receive a proration of their meal plan as outlined below.
学生 living in EGSC - Swainsboro campus housing will be enrolled in the same EGSC 餐厅的计划 selection in the spring as they are in the fall unless we are notified by the current spring 餐厅 Adjustment Date (9th 上课日).
Commuter students must request a meal plan by the 9th 上课日. Meal plans will not be discounted due to the timing of request.

The proration of a meal plan has two components: Base Meal Plan Swipes and the 餐厅 Dollar Balance.

- Proration of Base Meal Plan Swipes is based on the number of weeks remaining in the term rounded up to a whole week (partial weeks are not included in the calculation).
- Proration of 餐厅 Dollar Balance is the unused balance in dollars.

Terms of Usage:
Any EGSC 餐厅的计划 is active and valid for usage during the terms of the 学期 in which it is purchased. EGSC 餐厅的计划s are valid the first 上课日 through the last 上课日 of the term.

All EGSC 餐厅的计划s can be accessed with your Bobcat Card and/or use of the palm scanning station located in the Richard L. Brown 餐厅 Hall. No other method of access will be accepted by the EGSC 餐厅 Services 餐厅的计划. A Bobcat Card user may need to remit their card to a cashier to verify user identification before accessing and/or usage of 餐厅的计划. Palm scanners are for self-service entry into the Richard L. Brown 餐厅 Hall and each 餐厅的计划 user must enroll in the palm scanning system.
